Want to win a train tour around Europe with six of your besties, visiting historic Airbnb buildings along the way? Here’s how…
Listen up South African travel enthusiasts, Airbnb has partnered with Interrail to allow one lucky traveller and his/her five chosen travel companions to embark on a 19-day train adventure across Europe.
The lucky travellers will get to explore five different European countries over the course of 19 days and visit historic Airbnb buildings along the way. The train journey will make stops in the UK, Spain, France, Germany, and Italy.
The fabulous giveaway is in celebration of rail travel company Interrail’s 50th birthday, and in partnership with Airbnb, they want to highlight the golden age of 19th century travel.
According to Business Insider, Airbnb Regional Director, EMEA, Emmanuel Marill said that they were really excited about the giveaway.
“We are excited to be offering this epic adventure which celebrates the golden age of 19th century travel, when there was more time to appreciate adventures with friends and family for longer. By combining the very best of train travel with the best of heritage in Europe, we hope travellers will reconnect with history and culture and enjoy travel as it once was,” Marill said.
Travellers will get to stay over a few nights in each of the beautiful Airbnb locations, which include a chateau, an Italian villa and even a castle.

A short train-ride via the Channel Tunnel will then take travellers into France, where they will stay at Chissay-en-Touraine, an immaculate French château.
