IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS:
A. Orange Level 5 warning for waves and wind resulting in difficulty in navigation at sea and disruptions to beachfront activities are expected between Alexander Bay and Plettenberg Bay of the Western Cape.
B. Yellow Level 4 warning for disruptive wind resulting in localised damage can be expected to informal and formal settlements and temporary structures with strong wind also affecting certain roads and travel services over Joe Gqabi DM, Chris Hani DM, Amatole DM, Sarah Baartman DM and the Buffalo City and Nelson Mandela Metros.
C. Yellow Level 4 warning for damaging waves and waves resulting in disruptions of small harbours and/or ports and risk to medium vessels of dragging anchors, difficulty in navigation for the area between Plettenberg Bay and Port Edward.
D. Yellow Level 2 warning: Damaging waves are expected between Port Edward and Richards Bay leading to difficulties in navigation of small vessels and localised disruptions to beach front activities.

Temperature: Cloudy over the interior and south-west at first becoming partly cloudy and cold. Isolated showers are expected in the south-west at first.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate west to south-westerly but but strong along the south coast at first becoming fresh from the afternoon.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Low.
The Western half: Cloudy with isolated showers along the coast in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy becoming fine and cold from the afternoon.
The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong westerly.
The Eastern half: Cloudy in places in the west in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy, becoming fine and cold from the afternoon.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong westerly, moderating from afternoon.
Temperature: Morning fog along the eastern escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool but cold in the south-west with a chance of light rain and drizzle along the coast and adjacent interior.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
