Very cold, wet and windy conditions are expected with the passage of a cold front over the Western Cape, western and northern parts of Northern Cape and Eastern Cape from Friday into Saturday. Such Conditions May Have Adverse Effect on Small Stock Farming Over The Interior As Well Difficulty In Navigation Along The Coast.

Gauteng

Temperature: Partly cloudy in the north-east with morning fog patches, otherwise fine and cool.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.

Mpumalanga

Temperature: Cloudy in the east with fog patches and drizzle along the escarpment in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and cold to cool, becoming fine in the west by the afternoon.

Limpopo

Temperature: Cloudy in the east with fog patches with drizzle along the escarpment in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and cool.

North West

Temperature: Fine and cool to warm.

Free State

Temperature: Morning fog in the north-eastern part, otherwise fine and cool.

Northern Cape

Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool with morning fog over the southern interior where it will be cold, but warm along the coast and in the north.

Wind: – The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-easterly.

Western Cape

Temperature: Morning fog patches over the north-eastern interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cool, but warm over the West Coast district.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate northerly to north-easterly along the south coast, otherwise fresh to strong northerly to north-westerly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Low.

Eastern Cape

The Western half: Partly cloudy and cool.

The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-easterly.

The Eastern half: Parly cloudy and cool but fine in the north.

The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-easterly.

KwaZulu-Natal

Temperature: Morning fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cool but cold in places in the west. Morning light rain is expected along the north coast.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly to south-westerly becoming easterly to north-easterly by late morning.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.
