WEATHER: Isolated showers and rain to hit these provinces including KwaZulu-Natal

Gauteng

Temperature: Fine and hot.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Mpumalanga

Temperature: Warm in the Lowveld, otherwise fine and cool but partly cloudy to cloudy in the east with fog and drizzle patches on the escarpment.

Limpopo

Temperature: Very hot in the Western Bushveld, otherwise fine and warm to hot, but partly cloudy in the east with drizzle and fog patches on the escarpment where it will be cloudy.

North West

Temperature: Fine and hot.

Free State

Temperature: Fog in the east at first, otherwise fine and warm.

Northern Cape

Temperature: Fine and cool to warm in the south.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate northerly to north-westerly, becoming moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly from the afternoon.

Western Cape

Temperature: Partly cloudy in the east in the morning, otherwise fine and warm, but cool along the coastal areas and north-eastern interior.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light and variable along the south coast in the morning, otherwise fresh to strong easterly to south-easterly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.

Eastern Cape

The Western half: Cloudy and cool with isolated rain showers along the coast and adjacent interior. It will be partly cloudy to fine over the northern interior.

The Western half – The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly becoming easterly in the afternoon.

The Eastern half: Cloudy and cool with isolated rain showers along the coast and adjacent interior.

The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh south-westerly becoming south-easterly in the afternoon.

KwaZulu-Natal

Temperature: Cloudy and cool, but cold in places over the interior. Isolated showers and rain are expected but scattered along the north coast

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly to south-westerly moderating in the afternoon.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.
