IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS:
A. Yellow level 2 warning: Disruptive snow leading to dangerous driving conditions and loss of vulnerable livestock is expected over the central and northern high-lying areas of the Eastern Cape Province, the western parts of the KwaZulu-Natal Province, as well as the extreme eastern part of the Free State Province.
B. Yellow level 2 warning: Damaging winds leading to localized damage to settlements as well as localized loss of agricultural production expected over the eastern and central parts of the Northern Cape as well as the western and central parts of the North-West.

Very cold, wet and windy conditions are expected in the southern parts of the Free State Province and the southern part of the Northern Cape Province, the northern parts of the Eastern Cape Province, as well as the western parts and the Midlands of the KwaZulu-Natal Province.

Temperature: Partly cloudy and cold with scattered showers and thundershowers.

Temperature: Cloudy and very cold to cold but cool in the Lowveld, with scattered showers and rain.
Temperature: Cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain but scattered in the south.
Temperature: Cloudy, windy and cold to cool with widespread showers and thundershowers but scattered in the east.
Temperature: Cloudy, windy and cold with widespread showers and thundershowers but scattered in the east. Light snow is expected over the east and along the Lesotho boarder.
Temperature: Fine in the west, otherwise partly cloudy to cloudy and cold to cool with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the east. It will be windy over the interior during the afternoon.
Wind: – The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly.
Temperature: Cloudy with fog in the north-east in the morning, otherwise fine and cold to cool.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly in the south, becoming light north-westerly from the afternoon, otherwise moderate to fresh north-westerly.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Low.
The Western half: Partly cloudy, windy and cool but cold in places over the interior. It will be cloudy over the northern interior with isolated showers and thundershowers, spreading to the eastern parts from the afternoon. Snowfalls can be expected over the high mountains.
The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong north-easterly, moderating west of Cape St Francis mid-morning, becoming westerly in the evening.
The Eastern half: Cool along the coast, otherwise partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers. It will be very cold in the north with snow on the mountains.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate northerly, becoming fresh to strong north-easterly from the west.
Temperature: Cloudy and cold with isolated showers and rain but very cold in the west and the Midlands.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly to south-easterly, becoming moderate to fresh easterly to north-easterly from the south from the afternoon.
