Temperature and UVB forecast

Gauteng:

Temperature: Fine and cool.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Fine and cool to cold, but partly cloudy in the east where it will become cloudy in the evening with fog patches.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Warm in the extreme east, otherwise fine and cool but partly cloudy in the east where it will become cloudy in the evening with fog patches.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Fine and cool to warm.

Free State:

Temperature: Morning fog patches in east and south, otherwise fine and cool to cold, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Morning fog patches in the west and southern parts, otherwise fine and cool to warm becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon. It will be cold in the extreme south.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Morning fog patches over the interior, otherwise fine and cool to warm, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly, but moderate to fresh north-easterly along the south coast.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half – Morning freezing fog and frost in places in the north, otherwise fine and cold but cloudy along the coast at first with isolated morning showers. It will become partly cloudy in the afternoon.

The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be light and variable, becoming moderate easterly.

The Eastern half -Morning frost with freezing fog in places in the north, otherwise partly cloudy and cold with isolated showers along the coast, clearing west of East London by the late morning.

The Eastern half -The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly, becoming moderate south-easterly in the afternoon.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Morning fog patches over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy to cloudy and cool, but cold on the south-western high-ground. Isolated showers and rain is expected along the coast.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
