Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Kai !Garib Local Municipality of the Northern Cape Province.

Gauteng

Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.

Mpumalanga

Temperature: Morning fog over the Highveld, otherwise partly cloudy and cold to cool but cloudy in the east.

Limpopo

Temperature: Morning drizzle along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cold to cool. It will be cloudy in the east

North West

Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool.

Free State

Temperature: Morning fog in the east, otherwise fine and cold to cool.

Northern Cape

Temperature: Fine, windy and cool but cold in the south and west, becoming partly cloudy from the afternoon.

Wind: – The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong north-easterly, becoming moderate north-westerly from the afternoon.

Western Cape

Temperature: Morning fog along the south coast and the central interior, otherwise fine and cool to warm.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-easterly, becoming north-westerly in the west from the afternoon.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Low.

Eastern Cape

The Western half: Fine and cool.

The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light northerly to north-easterly.

The Eastern half: Fine and cool.

The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh northerly to north-easterly.

KwaZulu-Natal

Temperature: Morning fog over the western parts, otherwise fine and cool but partly cloudy in the north-east.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly, becoming moderate to fresh north-easterly in the afternoon.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.
