FIRE DANGER WARNINGS:

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Nama Khoi municipality of the Northern Cape.

ADVISORIES:

Temperature and UVB forecast

Gauteng:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool to warm.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool to warm with a chance of drizzle and fog patches along the escarpment, becoming fine in the Highveld in the afternoon.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool in the north and east with a chance of drizzle and fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Fine and cool to warm.

Free State:

Temperature: Fine and cool to warm.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Fine and cool to warm, but hot in the extreme north-west.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be strong south-easterly to southerly

Western Cape:

Temperature: Morning fog patches in the east, otherwise fine and warm but cool in places along the south-west and south coast as well as over the eastern interior.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate west to north-west along the south coast where it will become light and variable in the afternoon, otherwise fresh to strong south to south-easterly, but light to moderate east to north-easterly between Cape Point and Cape Agulhas in the morning.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half – Fine and cool.

The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be Light to moderate south-westerly.

The Eastern half – Fine and cool.

The Eastern halfWind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Morning fog patches over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cool but warm in the north-east with isolated morning showers/rain in the north coast.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
