IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS:

Yellow Level 1 warning for damaging waves resulting in localised disruptions to the beachfront activities such as rock angling and small boat users, is expected between Cape Columbine and Plettenberg Bay in the morning.

Gauteng:

Temperature: Fine and warm becoming partly cloudy late afternoon.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Morning drizzle and fog patches expected along the escarpment,otherwise cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers in the Lowveld and escarpment but partly cloudy in places in the west.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Cloudy in the Lowveld in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers in the south-western Bushveld and southern parts.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Fine and warm becoming partly cloudy in the east.

Free State:

Temperature: Fine and warm becoming partly cloudy in the east.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Morning fog along the coast and the southern interior early morning, otherwise fine and cool to warm but hot in the north-west.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-easterly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy over the central and eastern interior in the early morning, otherwise fine and cool to warm.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong easterly to south-easterly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half – Partly cloudy and cool with morning showers along the coast.

The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be Light westerly becoming moderate north -easterly from late morning.

The Eastern half – Partly cloudy and cool with showers along the coast.

The Eastern halfWind: The wind along the coast will be Light westerly becoming moderate easterly from midday.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Morning fog over the interior, otherwise cloudy and and cool but cold in the south-west. Isolated showers and rain expected but scattered along the coast.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh south-easterly, becoming moderate south-easterly to easterly from the south in the afternoon.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
