Extreme high fire danger conditions are expected over the eastern part of the Northern Cape and the south- western part of the North West.

Gauteng:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east in the morning with drizzle and fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east in the morning with drizzle and fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Fine in the extreme west, otherwise partly cloudy and warm.

Free State:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool to warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the south.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Fine in the north, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm cold over the southern interior, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the south-eastern parts.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly

Western Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool with light rain in the south-west but scattered in along the south-west coast.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly becoming but fresh to strong in the southwest by the afternoon.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half – Cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain in south-west.

The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly, becoming south-westerly in the afternoon.

The Eastern half – Cloudy and cool.

The Eastern halfWind: The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly, becoming south-westerly.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool, but warm in places in the north with isolated showers and thundershowers in the east.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly.
