QUICK, UNEVENTFUL CATCH

“The mamba had managed to climb up onto this second story veranda, presumably using a gutter pipe, and appeared to be looking for a comfy hiding place. As you can see, it was quite a calm specimen, and I think very confused too, by all the people around it. Quick, uneventful catch,” said Evans.

The South African previously reported that Nick Evans removed this Black Mamba from a garage in Reservoir Hills but later died because it was already injured.

“Black Mambas are known to be extremely dangerous animals, but as I’ve learnt over the years, they’re very misunderstood. While their bite is undeniably dangerous, they are shy snakes which only bite if they feel their life is in danger, and would much rather just move away,” said Evans.
