Mzansi can breathe a sigh of relief after a Comrades Marathon runner revealed that his proposal to “Prudence” was successful!

Speaking to EWN, the Pretoria man revealed that Prudence was now his fiancée after accepting his public proposal.
He said: “I was ecstatic when she said yes, and we’ve only been together for four months. After our prayers and doing all the rituals and stuff, I said to her I was going to propose, but she didn’t know how, when, and where”
Sunday’s marathon was Joseph’s seventh successful stint at completing the Comrades.
Meanwhile, Joseph told TshisaLive that the date of the Comrades Marathon – and the timing of his proposal to Prudence – was significant.
He said: “Prudence and I have been dating for four months. We met at church. Yesterday [Sunday] was the 10th anniversary of my wife’s death. I believed it was time for me to move on, therefore I proposed to Prudence”.
And if you’re hoping to catch a glimpse of lucky lady herself, you’ll just have to wait for the wedding snaps.
Joseph added: “She doesn’t want the limelight. She wants to stay out of the press.”
Meanwhile, service providers in Mzansi are hoping to spoil Joseph and his lovely lady with a romantic occasion after spotting the former at the Comrades.
Entertainment website Date Night Ideas revealed that they were keen to send the couple on a memorable date in celebration of their engagement.
