WHAT DOG LOVERS CAN EXPECT AT THE PET EXPO

Due to the nationwide lockdown which began in 2020, animal lovers across the country have spent a lot of time with their pets. The Pet Expo, which is the biggest pet event in Africa, offers a jam-packed weekend filled with entertainment for the entire family.

If you love dogs, there will be more than 400 dogs participating this year. You can enjoy pure-bred hounds strut their stuff at two Kennel Union of Southern Africa (KUSA) All Breed Championship Shows, meet different dog breeds and speak to dedicated breeders.

You can also expect to see dog jumping demonstrations while you shop around for your pet family at home.

MORE TO LOOK FORWARD TOO

Can enthusiasts can look forward to approximately 100 cats at cat shows and the opportunity to speak to hands-on experts who can answer all your questions.

The Expo would not be complete without animals that are slightly less furry. There has been an increasing popularity of reptiles and exotic animals recently and you can certainly get a feel of them at the expo.
