Guinness World Records: Most valuable teapot

The most valuable teapot is valued at $3,000,000 (56,892,600.00rands ) and is owned by the N Sethia Foundation (UK), as appraised in London, UK, on 9 August 2016.

The teapot is made from 18-carat yellow gold, with some internal aspects in gold-plated silver. The teapot was handmade by Italian jeweler Fulvio Scavia (Italy), with cut diamonds covering the entire body and a 6.67-carat ruby in the centre. The teapot’s handle is made from fossilised mammoth ivory.
