The longest zip wire over water is 1,770 m (5,807 ft 1 in) and was achieved by Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN Group) (Oman), in Musandam, Oman, on 31 January 2023.
The total length of the zip wire is 1,770 meters, starting from a height of 220 meters from the top of Mount Fit through Khor Qada and down to the landing platform at Atana Khasab Hotel in Musandam Governorate. Therefore, the physical measurement for the zip wire over water is 836.24 meters.
