Are you up for an adventure? Airbnb is searching for adventurers to relocate to Sambuca, Italy to live in a newly renovated home rent free. Here’s some info on how you can apply!
Airbnb has just started their search for “adventurers” who are up for a one-year stay in a “€1” home in Sambuca, Italy completely rent-free. There is, however, one small little catch, they will need to rent out one of the rooms in the house on Airbnb. It isn’t much of a catch though because they still get to keep the cash.
Airbnb just announced that they are looking for people who are willing to relocate from their current living situations to live in Italy Sambuca’s “€1” homes for one year completely rent-free.
Applications are also open for South Africans looking to apply.
The house that successful applicants get to live in was recently renovated and is now being described by Airbnb as a “unique Sicilian home” that “offers a stylish yet sustainable setting for remote working”.

And now they’re looking for an “adventurer with a passion for hospitality” to live in it all year long while hosting a number of guests in one of the rooms that will be posted on Airbnb.
The best part is that you will be allowed to keep all the money that you make from Airbnb’ing the room.
For those looking to apply, these are the requirements: You will have to be 18 and speak decent English, though you don’t have to speak Italian. You need to have a passport that is valid for at least one year.
You will need to relocate to Sambuca by 30 June. The successful applicant may also bring one additional adult and a maximum of two children keeping in mind that there are only two bedrooms and one will be rented out.
Business Insider reports that Airbnb will pay for flights and airport transfers, and four cooking lessons with a local, but no other expenses, but those can be recovered if you make enough money renting out part of the house.
