Hot and happening: Exciting events in Johannesburg this weekend

Looking for something exciting to do this weekend? Here are some really cool events happening in Johannesburg from 7 to 9 July 2023.

Take an Archery lesson in Johannesburg

What: Try your hand at archery this weekend and an Introductory lesson to Archery in Johannesburg. Experienced and qualified coaches will take you through the range safety procedure, how to handle the equipment correctly and how to shoot a bow effectively. Tickets cost R200 per person and can be purchased here.

When: Every Saturday from 14:45 to 15:45

Where: Archers of Zoo Lake Archery Range, Prince of Wales Dr, Parkview, Johannesburg.

Masau Spirits Tasting & Distillery Tour

What: Enjoy an African experience like no other at the Masau Spirits Tasting & Distillery Tour this weekend. You’ll get to taste four Masau Spirits paired with local Finger Foods, a chance to make your own cocktail, a guided tour of their working distillery and samples to take home. Tickets cost R275 per person and can be booked here.

When: Saturday, 8 July 2023, from 12:00 to 14:00

Where: Masau Craft Distillery, Villa Road, Muldersdrift.

Sunday Sip & Paint at Victoria Yards, Johannesburg

What: Kongo Art Sip & paint will be hosting a two hour freehand painting session this weekend at Victoria Yards. There will also be lots of delicious food vendors to try out and loads of vibrant fun to be had. Tickets are R250 with a cocktail or R350 with a free jug cocktail. Tickets can be purchased here.
