Hot and happening: Exciting events in Johannesburg this weekend

Looking for something exciting to do this weekend? Here are some really cool events happening in Johannesburg from 21 to 23 April 2023.

Take an Archery lesson in Johannesburg

What: Try your hand at archery this weekend and an Introductory lesson to Archery in Johannesburg. Experienced and qualified coaches will take you through the range safety procedure, how to handle the equipment correctly and how to shoot a bow effectively. Tickets cost R200 per person and can be purchased here.

When: Every Saturday from 14:45 to 15:45

Where: Archers of Zoo Lake Archery Range, Prince of Wales Dr, Parkview, Johannesburg.

Water X Vodka experience

What: Ever tried a water tasting experience? Join Candice Jansen, a water sommelier and Orefile Sealetsa of SKYY Vodka for a Water X Vodka experience.Water has unique tastes and stories and has minerals that also change and create the unique tastes of other beverages. You will learn more about water, taste different types and learn about how SKYY Vodka has incorporated water in its new recipe. Tickets cost R200 per person and can be booked here.

When: Friday, 21 April 2023, from 15:00 to 16:00

The Hobbit on stage

What: J.R.R Tolkien’s The Hobbit is coming to National Children’s Theatre stage in April and May 2023. The production is perfect for young and old alike and contains the best elements of adventure, fantasy, humor and unforgettable characters. Tickets cost R120 per person and can be booked here.

When: Runs from Sunday, 16 April to Sunday, 21 May 2023
