A few weeks from now, the first significant holiday season of 2023, Easter, will begin, and many South Africans, especially those who chose to work through the December holidays, are already on the go and eager for a vacation.

Here are three top places you could consider travelling to this Easter break:
One of the most fascinating spots to unwind on the Eastern Cape coastline is Cape St. Francis, together with its sister town, the canal-side “Little Venice” of St. Francis Bay.
One of its main draws is swimming as the water is warm for most of the year and the beaches are broad, extending from Seal Point to Shark Point and features a kid-safe tidal pool.
There is a historic lighthouse nearby, as well as nature reserves with boat cruises up the Kromme River, coastal hiking routes and bird-watching opportunities.

The Wild Coast is the best place to get away from it all.
This coastline, which stretches from East London to Port Edward, is an outstanding collection of wild, isolated, cliff-lined beaches, valleys, little Xhosa seaside settlements, and enormous stretches of uninhabited wilderness that beg for photos and hiking boots.
The further north you go, the more untamed it becomes.

What’s an easter break without visiting the Mother City?
The southernmost tip of Africa is one of the most beautiful places on earth, a paradise filled with stunning landscapes, lovely beaches, two oceans (the chilly Atlantic and the warmer Indian Ocean), and a vast range of attractions sure to please every traveller.
With the flat-topped Table Mountain standing guard, it truly is a lovely city.
