What’s on? Exciting events in Cape Town this weekend

Looking for something exciting to do this weekend? Here are some really cool events happening in Cape Town from 3 to 5 March 2023.

Annandale Wine Harvest festival

What: What better way to celebrate a wine harvest season than at a fun and food-filled Wine Harvest Festival in Stellenbosch this weekend? Tickets cost R275 per person and it gets you a glass of bubbly, a harvest feast platter, live music, Santa Annas salsa and corn chips snacks and some grape stomping! Kids also welcome. When: Saturday, 4 March 2023, from 11:00 to 16:00

Last weekend for the Maynardville Open-Air Festival

What: It’s your last chance to visit the Maynardville Open-Air Festival this weekend! The festival has so far been a treat for visitors, offering an awesome food market and a full season of Music, Opera, Ballet and Shakespeare under the stars. This weekend you can catch the Cape Town City Ballet as they perform two works in a perfect outdoor setting. Tickets cost R161 per person and can be booked here.

When: Friday, 3 and Saturday, 4 March 2023, from 20:15 to 22:15

Where: Maynardville Open-Air Theatre, Maynardville Park, Piers Rd, Wynberg, Cape Town.

What: Come see funnyman Yaaseen Barnes live this weekend as he takes the stage at Against the Grain in Bokaap. Tickets cost R100 per person and can be booked here.
