Executive Mayor, Geordin Hill-Lewis, said that the event promises to be a party that will appeal to the whole family.
“We are looking forward to an afternoon and evening of festive fun, with an amazing line-up and of course the highlight of the evening – the official switch-on moment, that will be followed by a fabulous and colorful video display that will illuminate City Hall and the surrounding buildings with a depiction of Cape Town’s unique and compelling story of hope and resilience.” the Mayor said.
