Located in Johannesburg’s inner city, Maboneng has become known as one of the hippest, trendiest hangout spots for Joburgers and tourists alike. The neighbourhood is an urban, creative and entrepreneurial hub for local artists, who showcase their wares in the many art galleries, studios and artisan shops and restaurants. The precinct (as it’s known) is also replete with chic, urban residential apartments that truly reflect the contemporary feel of the area.

Maboneng precinct tends to draw the downtown locals, as well as, the sophisticated, art-going crowd of Johannesburg’s other suburbs, bringing a certain gusto to the city. The suburb was also named one of the coolest neighbourhoods in the world by Forbes magazine in 2018 – no mean feat, if you ask us!
